What does a MAFCA Award Winning Newsletter Look Like?

An award winning newsletter will have all of the elements stated in the MAFCA policy on Chapter Newsletter Awards. It will also be an interesting read, easy to navigate, and have up to the minute information for their chapter members.

The 2023 Newsletter of the year was edited by David Rose of the Smoky Mountain Model A Club. It's title is "Rumble Seat".

Many technical articles have been collected and are now available on our website. Why not take a look and find one that you can use in your chapter newsletter?.

MAFCA Clip Art

Way back in the 1990s, members Jim and Gloria Parcelluzzi created a "Clip Art" floppy disk with images of both Model A items and other pieces of art for Chapter editors to use. Ten years later, the floppy disk morphed into a CD with dozens more images and converted to JPG format.

We have now cleaned up that Clip Art collection and made it available on the web site for Chapter Editors (and Webmasters) to browse through. You can find it by clicking here.

If you prefer to receive the collection electronically, send an email to the webmaster and we'll send it to you.

MAFCA Member Websites

Several MAFCA members host their own websites that specialize in one or more areas of Model A information.
A list of those can be found on the MAFCA Member Pages.

Chapter/Region/SIG Web Sites

Many of our chapters have their own web sites. On our Chapters List Pages, select a state/region/special interest group page
and then look for the links that say Visit our Web Site. You may be able to find some feature they're using that your local members would enjoy.

LINKS to other interesting places

Other places you might want to visit include North America Model A sites, not necessarily MAFCA related. Or Overseas sites - some of them are quite good. There is also a list of Model A organizations with their contact info.

For these and other links, take a look at the Links Page.

MAFCA Logo

Many of our chapter editors and webmasters have asked for a nice MAFCA logo for their use. The MAFCA webmaster scanned one of the MAFCA decals sold in the MAFCA store and has made it available for you to use.

This is a JPEG image. It's large enough for you to print is actual size (about 5" wide) at 300 dots/inch.
Of course, you can always make it smaller if you wish.

To download it, right-click on the image and save to your computer.

This is a GIF image that has a transparent background. Webmasters can use this image to place on their website. If your background isn't white, it will show through around the MAFCA logo (instead of having a white rectangle around the logo).Notice that there's no white rectangle around the image like there is with a JPEG or PNG file.

To download it, right-click on the image and save to your computer.

Model A Advertising

There were many advertisements published for the Model A during the years 1928-1931.
They were mostly in magazines and newspapers.

Copies of some of those ads are on our Era Ads page.
